Dropbox is a free cloud storage service by Dropbox Inc. & it allows you to backup and sync your photos, videos, files & documents to cloud storage & access them from anywhere. Dropbox allow users to edit documents, automatically add photos, share photos & videos with friends anywhere in the world.
If you have iPhoto 7.0 or later version, you can import photos from your library to Dropbox using the Dropbox desktop application.
Following are the steps to upload photos from iPhoto to Dropbox:

Go to https://www.dropbox.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
Import photos from iPhoto:
- Click the Dropbox icon in the menu bar.
- Click the gear icon & checkmark all the options in the menu.
- Select the import tab.
- Click 'Import Photos from iPhoto'
A Pop-up window opens up, click 'Import Photos to Dropbox'. El capitan usb bootable.
There are 3 ways to upload photos from iPhoto to Dropbox.
a) You can upload an entire album.
b) You can upload individual photos.
c) You can upload multiple photos from the album.
Select any one of the available options listed above.
The application will copy your photos to a top level folder named 'Photos' from iPhoto to your Dropbox.

Did you move the actual Photos library, or did you move the individual photos? Neither is likely to do what you want, but the recovery will be different. Either way, you will need to put your library/pictures back into the normal file system, then look for another solution to your space shortage.
If you really moved the whole Photos library, you may have done irreparable damage to it and should restore it from your backup (ideally a Time Machine backup).
If you only moved the pictures from the Photos library to Dropbox, you'll have to move the back into the Photos library before you can access them from the Photos app.
