- With support for the original Mario Maker winding down, I thought maybe we could collaborate and share levels featuring costumes that are generally hard to unlock. I know we'll be able to play 100 Mario Challenge after March 31, but personally, I'm not a fan of constantly facing enemy spam or Kaizo levels.
- Nintendo have announced that they will be deactivating the ability to upload courses in Super Mario Maker for Wii U on 31st March 2021. That's also the date that they're removing Super Mario Bros.
- The original Super Mario Maker will soon lose online support and disappear from the Wii U’s eShop, ending five years of creative endeavours. Nintendo announced it will turn off the do-it.

With support for the original Mario Maker winding down, I thought maybe we could collaborate and share levels featuring costumes that are generally hard to unlock. I know we'll be able to play 100 Mario Challenge after March 31, but personally, I'm not a fan of constantly facing enemy spam or Kaizo levels. If we share some levels now, we'll all have hopefully plenty of time to download them and be able to use the costumes long after support is dropped.
Overall, I'm looking to see levels featuring the following:

- Diskun
As the mods removed my post last time for contributing other people's creations already featuring certain costumes in order to help speed up the process of helping others to preserve the content… I won't share links to the levels this time myself, don't worry mods 🙂 But if anyone else has levels featuring the following, please, share recommendations:
- Mallo
- Bubbles
- Volleyball Player

You’ll have to move on from the original Super Mario Maker if you want to create maps. Nintendo has warned that course uploads will no longer work for the Wii U game as of March 31st, 2021. If you want to craft a ridiculously difficult level or otherwise share courses with your friends, you’ll have to use Super Mario Maker 2 on the Switch.
Nintendo didn’t explain why it was winding things down. You can still play courses after the cutoff, but the game will clearly lose some value when you can’t share your creations with anyone else.
It’s not a surprising move, at least. The Wii U wasn’t nearly as successful as the Switch has been, and may have limited the audience for SMM even in the game’s 2015 heyday, let alone five years later. It might be costly for Nintendo to maintain servers for a game that isn’t getting much use, especially when many of those fans might have leapt to the Switch-based sequel.
