Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom is a surprisingly great game, considering it was based off a TV show (and trust me; not many games based off TV shows are well made/have sold well). In this game the player plays as SpongeBob and Patrick who are seen driving in the Patty Wagon doing tasks from Princess Mindy. The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie is based on the film of the same name, using the engine of Battle for Bikini Bottom (minus the overworld). It's also notable for trying to work around the presence of David Hasselhoff (who was in the film for no real reason other than to move the plot forward) by using a suspiciously similar-looking guy who says, 'I'm not a lifeguard, but I play one on TV.'
